Maintenance Mechanic Lead (2nd Shift)
About The Position
Palermo's is seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead for their 2nd shift operation. This role involves leading a team of technicians to ensure high uptime for production lines, bringing structure to the shift, and developing team members. The position requires hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, including PLCs, VFDs, servos, and robotics, and will contribute to the transition towards planned and predictive maintenance strategies. The company is investing in its maintenance team and moving towards a more organized and supported work environment, away from reactive repairs.
Requirements
- Solid hands-on industrial maintenance experience, including leading or mentoring others.
- Technically strong and disciplined about detail and safety.

Responsibilities
- Lead and support a shift team of technicians, keeping lines running at 98%+ uptime.
- Bring structure and a steady hand to the shift, and develop your techs along the way.
- Stay hands-on with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting (PLCs, VFDs, servos, robotics).
- Help drive the move to predictive maintenance so the work gets more planned over time.
