About The Position

As a Maintenance Mechanic II at Pursuit Aerospace, you will work with the team and/or team lead to repair and replace pumps and motors, and diagnose issues with CNC machines, hydraulic and pneumatic presses, waterjet equipment, and 5-axis lasers. This is a full-time second-shift role in Eastford, Connecticut, Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 2 years of maintenance and/or mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
At least 2 years of hydraulic troubleshooting and repair experience.
At least 2 years of experience with 120–480-volt, 3-phase electrical systems.

Forklift or man-lift experience.
PLC troubleshooting experience.
Experience rebuilding pumps.
Plumbing or light carpentry experience.
Welding experience.
CNC repair or operating experience.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair breakdowns of various machines, equipment, and facilities.
Keep an inventory of shop supplies and parts and report inventory needs to the Lead.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on facilities and machinery.
Assist with snow removal around facility entrances and stairs to help keep employees safe.
Assist EHS with hazardous waste accumulation area checks and safety walks.
Keep the shop and work area clean and maintain a safe working area.
Look up parts needed for repairs and communicate information back to the department lead.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
