About The Position

This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters. The job is located in Schuyler, NE and is a Full Time position on the 3rd shift.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older
• Able to read, write and speak English
• Knowledge of basic tools and maintenance related subjects
• Previous experience in maintenance

Responsibilities

• May operate heavy machinery (including forklift) or computer programs
• Use a variety of tools and retrieve parts
• Conduct daily set-up of area
• Troubleshooting
• Working around or with machinery and power sources such as electricity
• Ensuring safety, food safety and quality
• Cleanliness and housekeeping
• Maintaining a safe working environment
• Participating on various teams such as HAZMAT
