About The Position

As our Maintenance Mechanic, Buildings and Grounds 1, you will assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment, including motors, gearboxes, bearings, mechanical drives, VFD’s, electrical components, and basic controls. You will also learn and assist with facility systems, including chiller, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance. The role involves performing preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime, responding swiftly to maintenance requests, and maintaining accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities. You will collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and equipment performance, ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanics is a plus.
  • Some experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Reliable, punctual and safety-focused.
  • Positive attitude and strong cultural fit with a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical training in mechanics is a plus.
