About The Position

Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to: Ability to install and remove covers and inspections plates. Adjust bearings, ways, belts, dismantle equipment, and store as directed. Service, maintain guard rails, casters, and wheels. Assembles parts into complete assemblies, such as building benches, parts, racks, perform fabricating operations on the equipment by cutting material to size, drilling holes and threading pipe as directed. Assists in loading and unloading equipment by operating lift trucks. Ability to properly dispose of waste. Makes minor repairs on equipment and checks functionality after repair. Assist Maintenance A and Maintenance General Mechanics in other fields incidental and necessary to the completion of an assigned task. Performs rework, repair and other associated operations relating to the work described. Follow all Senior policies and procedure. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar field.
High school diploma or GED.
Basic understanding of industrial electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, HVAC, Carpentry, Painting, Exterior Maintenance and Routine inspections.
Ability to read and interpret basic diagrams, schematics, and blue prints.
Capability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy equipment.
Knowledge of safety procedures, including OSHA, and ability to work with minimum supervision.
Interacting professionally with clients to address concerns and explain repairs.
Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.

Technical school or vocational training is preferred.
