About The Position

The Maintenance Mechanic B is responsible for supporting the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Basic computer proficiency
• Experience using a voltmeter
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics
• Working knowledge of hand tools, air tools, and pneumatic tools
• Basic welding and cutting torch experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical wiring repairs using voltage meters and technical schematics
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and hydraulic issues using appropriate tools and equipment
• Conduct preventative maintenance in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Repair equipment by removing, replacing, or restoring defective components
• Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, anticipating needs, and ensuring timely ordering of parts and supplies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
• Adhere to and promote a safe working environment at all times
