About The Position

As a Maintenance Mechanic A, you will demonstrate a high level of performance with advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques, enabling you to perform complex repairs and rebuilds. You will report to the Maintenance Area Manager and be located at Newington, NH, supporting this position 100% onsite. This role involves supporting the installation and development of maintenance functions for new or reconfigured electrical and mechanical equipment, working with production processes to offer technical advisement or coordinate modifications to existing equipment for optimization, and performing preventative maintenance and repairs on various systems including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems within the plant and on production machinery. You will also troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment, install and debug complex CNC control systems, requisition parts and materials, and work from electrical/mechanical drawings, schematics, or diagnostic software. General duties as assigned by management and participation in the L2L maintenance program (laptop/phone provided) are also part of this role.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or GED.
  • Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, ladder diagrams and PLC logic.
  • Basic familiarity with CNC programming languages

Responsibilities

  • Support the installation and the development of maintenance functions to new or reconfigured electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Work with production processes to offer technical advisement or coordinate modifications to existing equipment to optimize performance through process improvement projects.
  • Preventative maintenance (PM) not limited to troubleshooting machines.
  • Repair on electrical and mechanical system(s) within the plant and on production machinery.
  • Preventative maintenance and repairs on pneumatic controls for building systems and production machinery.
  • Preventative maintenance and minor repairs on plan machinery and equipment, including hydraulic systems on production machinery.
  • Troubleshoot, installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Install and debug complex CNC control systems using advanced techniques and use of internal and external diagnostic equipment and software.
  • Requisition parts and materials.
  • Work from electrical/mechanical drawings, schematics, or diagnostic software.
  • General Duties as assigned by management
  • L2L maintenance program (laptop/phone provided)
