About The Position

Under the direction of the Manager, performs general building maintenance in the hospital and/or off site locations. Repairs and maintains mechanical equipment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid New Hampshire Driver's License required for day shift positions, preferred for evening and night positions.
  • One year minimum related maintenance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (general mechanical skills, carpentry capability, basic plumbing and electrical knowledge).

Responsibilities

  • Completes work orders pertaining to Life Safety, Environment of Care, Safety and Patient Related.
  • Completes Preventative Maintenance Work Orders.
  • Creates and maintains proper documentation.
  • Evaluate and Interprets data to perform preventive maintenance, trouble shoot malfunctions or perform repairs.
  • Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
  • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
