About The Position
Under the direction of the Manager, performs general building maintenance in the hospital and/or off site locations. Repairs and maintains mechanical equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One year minimum related maintenance experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (general mechanical skills, carpentry capability, basic plumbing and electrical knowledge).
- Valid New Hampshire Driver's License required for day shift positions, preferred for evening and night positions.
Responsibilities
- Completes work orders pertaining to Life Safety, Environment of Care, Safety and Patient Related.
- Completes Preventative Maintenance Work Orders.
- Creates and maintains proper documentation.
- Evaluate and Interprets data to perform preventive maintenance, trouble shoot malfunctions or perform repairs.
- Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
