About The Position

Our mission is simple: We care for and maintain headquarters facilities and support resiliency and events to create a place where the Spirit may reside and the work of salvation and exaltation can be accomplished. We do this by caring for our employees and looking after our buildings in the best way possible. Provides customer service for the Supply Room in-person and via phone/email. Maintains accurate inventory and tool records. Picks-up and delivers tools and materials. Maintains safety records and inspects equipment. Prepares coin donations. Interacts with customers within HQF, other departments, and vendors.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent preferred
  • 1 year supply room/hardware store experience
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Construction background preferred (1 year construction experience can replace 1 year supply room/hardware store experience)
  • Must be able to independently lift and position objects weighing as much as 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, push, and pull for extended periods of time
  • Driver's License Required
  • May need to meet DOT requirements and obtain DOT medical card
  • May need to obtain cart certification.
  • Communication and writing skills working with all levels of trades and management
  • Must be able to work in a professional manner with others as well as alone without constant supervision.
  • Must have a positive attitude with the ability to work as a team.
  • Must pass all required safety and equipment certifications and trainings.
  • Beginning computer skills, including Microsoft products and ability to learn other software applications, as needed

Responsibilities

  • Works at the Supply Room counters to assist in checking out tools and materials
  • Assists customers with computer checkout at the checkout stations
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Enters information into a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Performs cycle counts
  • Records the use of tools, equipment, and materials
  • Records tools and equipment needing repair
  • Tracks tool purchases and warranty information
  • Drives Flatbed truck, forklifts and cart for tool and material pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Enters Safety Data Sheet (SDS) records
  • Inspects safety equipment
  • Cleans and prepares coins for donation
  • Other duties as assigned by management
