About The Position

The Maintenance job family is responsible for planning, scheduling, and organizing the efficient operation and performance of work assignments. Coordinates with various departments to achieve optimum utilization of operation resources and effectively achieve production improvements through usage of industry standard methodologies. This position will support the Maintenance and Operations Material. This position shall be performed under the day-to-day direction, control, and supervision of WTCC.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, economics or related field and 4 years’ experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), or similar Inventory Management Systems.
  • Possess the ability to perform vital and detail material control functions.
  • Knowledge of a variety of operating activities such as purchasing, requisitioning, expediting, materials control.
  • Associates degree business, engineering, construction management, economics and 6 years’ experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), or similar Inventory Management Systems.
  • High School Diploma/GED and 8 years’ experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), or similar Inventory Management Systems.
  • Must be authorized to work and remain in the United States without Amentum visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check which includes verification of employment and education.
  • Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site. (Even if teleworking, must still be able to comply with security requirements to obtain a badge.)

Nice To Haves

  • Material Management/Procurement experience in the DOE / ISMS / VPP / Commercial Nuclear environment.
  • Progression to the next grade is based upon complexity of assignment and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain current training, certification and development requirements.
  • Review and Approve Material Requests (MRS) within CHAMPS to ensure alignment with configuration management control requirements to support Maintenance and Operations scope.
  • Process Material Service Order Forms as assigned (MSOF).
  • Catalog CMMS Engineering Spares, Maintenance and Operations Materials to support operating plant.
  • Support other parts request administration and inventory support functions.
  • Maintains assigned tracking reports, metrics and records.
  • Adhere to a published CMMS cataloging standard.
  • Establishes the equipment Bill of Material (BOM) links to cataloged spares.
  • Administer origination of all Spares Material Requisitions (SCR) to procure spares and services.
  • Expedited tracking and reporting of spares requisition services requisition, purchase order award and delivery status.
  • Receives balance into the CMMS.
  • Initiates Subcontract Field Services Requisition.
  • Performs the physical inventory balance and reconciliations and reporting.
  • Initiation of LDDR’s (Loss, Damage, Destruction Report) when required.
  • Some support for department procedure change control may be required
  • Support the Waste Treatment Plant Nuclear Safety Quality Culture by emphasizing the values of safety and quality in the performance of work in order to protect self, others, and the environment
