About The Position

The Maintenance Manufacturing Rep will maintain operational status of Robotic Production Assets onsite by: creating and executing preventative maintenance practices, becoming an SME for robotic troubleshooting and repairs, sourcing spare and repair parts through vendor interactions, utilizing CMMS tools to maintain records of repair and service. This Rep will primarily be working on Government Owned (SPR) Robotics equipment. This Rep reports directly to the Maintenance Team and must possess the ability to maintain relationships with Production, Robotics Engineering and vendors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year robotics machine maintenance experience.
  • Experience with 6 axis industrial and collaborative robots
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
  • Experience with PLC's to include effectively diagnosing analog and digital field components, along with input/output devices as well as PLC programming
  • Experience troubleshooting / diagnosing HMI systems
  • Experience using various types of diagnostic tools and meters to include volt meters, resistive measuring devices, meggers, data loggers, micrometers, calipers, test gauges, and temperature measuring devices
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the department of defense
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or higher in Mechatronics or similar
  • Experience with reliability, preventative and predictive Maintenance practices
  • Mechanical/electrical or hydraulic trade school or apprenticeship
  • CMMS experience
  • Specific trade licensing e.g. (Electrical)
  • ABB robotics and Fanuc Controls
  • Welding equipment experience
  • PLC and ABB programming experience
  • Familiarity with industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, DeviceNET)
  • Experience in coordinating efforts with multiple teams at once

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain robotic welding and cutting systems.
  • Create and execute preventative maintenance practices.
  • Become an SME for robotic troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Source spare and repair parts through vendor interactions.
  • Utilize CMMS tools to maintain records of repair and service.
  • Diagnose issues across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
  • Assist in developing and evaluating new technologies or methods (mechanics, hydraulics, algorithms, software, etc.).
  • Work with others and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Further one’s knowledge base and skill-set in a growing company with specialized equipment.
  • Follow procedural compliance and engineered procedures.
