About The Position

We, at Elite Comfort Solutions LLC, are searching for a Maintenance Manager within our maintenance team to help support our bedding team. Elite Comfort Solutions LLC is a global leader in foam technology with over 20 years of experience, partnering with Leggett & Platt to ensure customers get the best sleep possible. As a Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all equipment and facility maintenance, ensuring the facility, layout, and machinery run at maximum efficiency and output. This includes total preventative maintenance and managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical, and robotic equipment (including software programming/PLCs). Your contributions will directly impact the business through strong leadership of the maintenance team and budget/cost reporting. Requirements

  • Six years of experience in plant maintenance, facilities maintenance and management, including special emphasis on project management and supervision.
  • Knowledge of plant/facilities engineering management techniques.
  • Knowledge of construction and design of buildings and facilities system modifications.
  • Knowledge of building and safety codes and energy conservation techniques.
  • Technical capability and understanding.
  • Understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing.
  • Profit and Loss responsibilities for maintenance.
  • Understanding of manufacturing and procurement/supply chain.
  • Ability to provide leadership and direction to employees.
  • Ability to interact effectively with others.
  • Ability to write clear, concise reports.
  • Ability to design and administer complex facilities projects.
  • Ability to provide in-house training of personnel.
  • Ability to be flexible in work assignments.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing or Engineering degree or HND, BTec professional level 5 award or equivalent NVQ level 5 qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine building inspections, evaluate conditions, and generate work assignments as needed to maintain the building in serviceable condition.
  • Monitor work completion and performance by contractors.
  • Evaluate safety and manufacturing improvement programs.
  • Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs in all areas.
  • Participate in environmental projects as needed.
  • Ensure ISO compliance in maintenance-related areas.
  • Monitor all internal systems for accuracy and compliance with company goals and expectations.
  • Provide technical consultation on specific facility engineering problems.
  • Make recommendations to correct problems that could hinder a machine's performance, reduce output, or affect quality.
  • Conform to all Quality/Safety requirements and procedures.
  • Ensure a clean and orderly workplace is kept.
  • Participate in and encourage participation in the Continuous Quality Improvement process.
  • Confer with management, production, and plant staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
  • Coordinate and direct projects, make detailed plans to accomplish goals, and direct the integration of technical activities.
  • Communicate objectives with all department managers.
  • Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
  • Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.
  • Know and understand all company policies.
