About The Position

The Maintenance Manager will assure all Dungarvin Indiana property and equipment is in safe operating condition and maintained consistent with Dungarvin standards. This person will provide leadership to the organization in all areas related to property and equipment management including: acquisition, general upkeep, improvement, and cost effectiveness. Supervise and direct the Maintenance Department and all related contracted work. This person will be responsible for all preventative, corrective, and renovating maintenance of buildings, grounds, vehicles, and property including: planning, implementation, quality assurance, budgetary adherence, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in building maintenance, including: Heating, Plumbing, Electrical, General repairs
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management and department oversight
  • Ability to evaluate cost effectiveness and implement preventative maintenance measures
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Strong financial management and communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in property management
  • Experience working with outside contractors to: Ensure quality results, Approve and authorize billing for services
  • Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
  • Must comply with the requirements outlined in the POLICY AND PROCEDURE ON DRIVING AND THE USE OF MOTOR VEHICLES (A-8).
