The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for providing a safe, efficient operating environment by directing the installation, maintenance, repair of machines, tools, equipment and utility systems. This role involves managing the maintenance department staff, overseeing schedules, conducting performance evaluations, and handling discipline as needed. The manager will identify maintenance requirements, prepare budgets, initiate corrective actions, and ensure production efficiencies by prioritizing repairs and installations. They will also work with the Facility Supervisor to ensure utility resources are dependable and direct maintenance operations by enforcing company policies. Additionally, the role requires active participation in improvement initiatives, designing and implementing preventative maintenance programs, resolving maintenance problems, and coordinating preventive and predictive maintenance for 100% equipment up-time. Maintaining professional and technical knowledge and applying TS 16949 system procedures are also key aspects of this position.
