About The Position

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of production equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic and fabrication for the Stanton & Riverside facilities. In addition, this role will be to collaborate with other Maintenance Managers in utilization of the CMMS system. This role combines hands-on expertise, with leadership and project management, to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency of all machinery and equipment. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with various machinery and controls.
  • Working knowledge of electrical motor control systems and components.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a maintenance role, with previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and working in various environments for extended periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or advanced training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with Plant / Production Managers to schedule and execute maintenance projects, including equipment relocation, layout optimization, and installations.
  • Supervise and manage the maintenance team, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
  • Oversee the installation of wiring and conduit, for new and existing equipment, including conveyors and programmable controllers.
  • Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools and ensure proper inventory levels for equipment, parts, and supplies.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of plant equipment and machinery.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance records on the Llumin database, including inventory tracking and equipment logs.
  • Process and publish maintenance records, compiled from the Llumin database, drawing awareness to equipment that needs attention.
  • Promote a safe and clean working environment by adhering to and enforcing company safety policies.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related maintenance goals and supporting production objectives.
