The Maintenance Manager is responsible for instituting and overseeing the implementation of a comprehensive Maintenance Program. This includes creating, vetting, implementing, and updating plant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other relevant processes. The role involves scheduling, planning, and ensuring the timely execution of all maintenance procedures. The Manager leads and directs teams to operate the plant safely, in compliance with regulatory requirements, within budget, and according to company expectations. Key responsibilities include monitoring and directing work activities for safety and efficiency, maintaining budgetary control, participating in incident investigations, training and coaching team members, and executing maintenance tasks. The role also involves developing and monitoring the maintenance budget, coordinating inspections, evaluating working procedures for efficiency, analyzing operating data, managing plant projects, conducting facility inspections and safety audits, ensuring compliance with HES regulations, promoting a proactive safety culture, directing daily maintenance activities, managing maintenance contractors, serving as a technical resource, managing warehouse and inventory activities, and collaborating with procurement. The position also assists in personnel actions such as hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
