About The Position

Lake Louise is a little hamlet with lots to offer; it’s on every backpacker’s bucket list, both for the amazing unspoiled wilderness and outdoor pursuits of the National Park – and for the renowned reputation of being a great place to work with, live with other young folks from around the world! And there’s no better place to do this than at our hostel.

We’re a team of avid travellers who’ve chosen to work in this place, and this hostel, because we want to be immersed in a culture of other like-minded people who believe in respecting each other, learning about other people’s cultures, and squeeze the best out of our Canadian Rockies experience.

Our staff accommodation has everything you need and is extremely affordable, one of the cheapest in town. Add to that we’ve got a fleet of camping gear for you to borrow to get out and explore even more... not to mention 13 other Mountain Park hostels that you get to stay at for free, so you can expand your explorations to the rest of the parks... or even the rest of Canada... knowing you’ve got a place to sleep and friends to connect with everywhere you go, for free!

Requirements

• Previous experience operating power tools safely and responsibly
• Excellent communication and trouble-shooting skills
• You must also have the demonstrated ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license
• Must have basic knowledge of plumbing, electricity, carpentry
