This role is crucial for leading Maintenance Plant Operations, managing equipment specifications, planning tasks, and driving continuous improvement projects using methodologies like Six Sigma (ALPS projects) or Kaizen events. The position also involves managing resources to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations such as OSHA, NFPA, National Electrical Code, High Point Air Permit, and SAQ.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree required (preferred Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or Chemical)
  • Maintenance or engineering experience (3-5 years) in an industrial environment
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and SAP-PM
  • Experience managing preventive and corrective maintenance plans
  • Industrial maintenance knowledge, preferably specialized in pneumatics, electricity, hydraulics, and PLC control

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all plant equipment maintenance tasks are carried out by managing internal or external personnel (technicians and outsourcing).
  • Implement maintenance processes including work order system for scheduling, gatekeeping with clients, reporting, and Work Order closure via SAP PM module to feed KPIs.
  • Develop and ensure adherence to Preventative Maintenance plans.
  • Meet TRR=0 (Total Recordable Rate) and accomplish activities related to PSM/SAQ/IRS/HSE/BBS/Hazard Study with zero accidents.
  • Supervise suppliers and/or contractors performing maintenance work and authorize special work permits.
  • Identify and update the list of critical elements and equipment according to standards for goods integrity and process safety.
  • Coordinate investments related to predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance, and manage the assigned maintenance department budget.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of contracts and maintenance budgets, and coordinate external maintenance with service providers.
  • Ensure the training, motivation, and awareness of staff within the organizational structure.
  • Uphold and apply the company's integrity and ethics values, Code of Conduct, and Principles Against Bribery, participating in related training.
  • Communicate changes within report lines.
