About The Position

As a Maintenance Manager, you’ll get to use your knowledge and enhance your skills while working on highly diversified machinery and facilities tasks and projects - including installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of specialized sawmill machinery and facility equipment and systems. Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems knowledge and skills
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the plant maintenance team
• Develop and improve preventative maintenance programs
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of machines and equipment to minimize downtime
• Identify equipment reliability improvements
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
• Manage machine vendors and spare parts inventory while controlling costs
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting, welding, and fabrication support as needed
• Provide support and training on all OSHA and plant safety processes and lead plant LOTO program
