About The Position
Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance efforts for their inpatient facility in Hedgesville. This is a working leadership position where the manager will be involved in repairs, troubleshooting, projects, and overall property upkeep, in addition to managing the maintenance team. The role is crucial in ensuring the facility remains safe, comfortable, clean, and operational, which directly supports the treatment provided to individuals overcoming substance use disorders.
Requirements
- Comfortable picking up a tool, diagnosing a problem, figuring out what needs to be done, and either making the repair yourself or getting the right person on the job.
- Experience with plumbing.
- Experience with electrical systems.
- Experience with HVAC/heating.
- Experience with general building maintenance.
- Experience with preventive maintenance.
- Experience with equipment repair.
- Experience working with contractors and vendors.
- Experience leading or supervising other maintenance employees.
- A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, heating, refrigeration, and laundry equipment.
- Handling routine repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Keeping the building, equipment, and grounds safe, functional, and well maintained.
- Responding to urgent repairs and facility emergencies.
- Maintaining and monitoring building systems and equipment.
- Overseeing landscaping, snow removal, and exterior maintenance.
- Coordinating outside contractors and vendors.
- Planning and overseeing remodeling, renovations, and construction projects.
- Ordering parts, tools, supplies, and materials.
- Keeping up with work orders, inspections, maintenance records, and equipment inventories.
- Scheduling, coaching, and supervising maintenance and grounds staff.
- Identifying ways to prevent recurring problems, improve the facility, and save money.
