The Maintenance Manager oversees, plans, and issues work orders for equipment modifications, preventative maintenance, and corrective maintenance. This role involves preparing and coordinating maintenance resources, providing recommendations for capital and continuous improvement projects, and reviewing equipment operations to identify maintenance issues related to Safety, Quality, Cost, Productivity, and Customer Satisfaction. The manager will review and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to recommend improvements in plant operations, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and maintenance problem resolution. Additionally, this position tracks and improves the Maintenance department's KPIs, engages employees in problem-solving using Lean Manufacturing techniques, and fosters a positive working environment to meet productivity targets. The role ensures regulatory compliance, monitors and manages the Maintenance budget, assists in recruitment, and ensures proper training for maintenance employees, identifying and addressing training gaps.
