About The Position

At Green Alpha Property Management, our mission is to improve the lives of our stakeholders through our property management services. We specialize in acquiring, managing, and enhancing commercial real estate properties, with a strong presence throughout the Southeast United States. This full-time role is based in Houston, TX, and is responsible for overseeing all maintenance and repair tasks at apartment communities within the region to ensure facilities are in good repair at all times. A sense of urgency is critical, as work orders need to be resolved in a timely manner.

Requirements

2+ years of maintenance experience
HVAC, EPA certification required
Various System Experience (excel, word, etc) required
Computer experience required
Strong desire to uphold personal honesty, integrity, and work ethic
Maintains a passionate and enthusiastic attitude
Drivers License and ability to drive to various properties
Show Legal documentation showing ability to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical experience preferred

Responsibilities

Handle all maintenance/repair related tasks at the apartment communities within the region.
Respond timely to requests/work orders and ensure efficient problem resolution, and delegate as appropriate.
Perform preventative maintenance.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and landscapers, and other parties.
Ensure facilities and related systems are in good working order (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, exterior, etc.).
Ensure units are 100% ready for move in (checklists, physically visiting units, etc.).
Update and maintain work order management through AppFolio.
Maintain clean properties by ensuring that complexes are clear of trash and other debris.
