Requirements

  • Capable of reading, writing and speaking English.
  • Capable of physical mobility, including sitting, bending, twisting, standing and lifting.
  • Possess functional knowledge of mechanical repair/maintenance on molding machines and auxiliary equipment with six (6) years minimum practical application.
  • Capable of assigning, scheduling, and supervising the maintenance and repair of molding machines, auxiliary equipment and building.
  • Highly motivated self-starting working habits.
  • Capable of motivating and training others.
  • Possess person computer skills, including JDE.
  • Knowledge of tools, procedures, technical skills and safely rules used in the maintenance and repair of equipment and building.
  • Capable of maintaining an attendance record within the Company's guidelines and working required extended hours.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of working extended workdays and weekends as required.
  • Response to after hour emergency conditions.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

Responsibilities

  • Schedules and prioritizes maintenance, preventive maintenance and repairs of equipment and building. Insures timely completion of work.
  • Supervises maintenance department personnel, assigns work, schedules leave, evaluates performance, provides technical and safety training.
  • Performs contractor research and writes reports as required.
  • Assist in strategic planning of plant maintenance department.
  • Assist in budget preparation.
  • Interacts with the Fire Marshall and the Company's insurance carrier.
  • Plans and organizes work to meet schedules and timelines in an environment with constantly changing priorities.
  • Analyzes situation accurately and adopts an effective course of action.
  • Adheres to all Company GMP's and department procedures.
  • Maintains an effective pest control program.
  • Electrical system maintenance.
  • Conducts Maintenance Staff meetings and department safely meetings.
  • Supports MRO and ISO Teams.
