About The Position
Interlink Multifamily partners with apartment communities to provide reliable, prepared, and professional onsite staffing and leadership support. We support ownership groups and operators by placing maintenance leaders who protect assets, ensure safety, and drive consistent operations. As a Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for leading all maintenance operations for the community. This role oversees the maintenance team, ensures property standards are met, and supports a safe, well-maintained environment for residents and staff.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Maintenance Manager or senior maintenance lead in multifamily housing
- Strong working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute maintenance workflows
- Professional communication and sound judgment
- Commitment to safety, quality, and accountability
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily maintenance operations
- Supervise and support maintenance technicians, assistants, and porters
- Prioritize and manage work orders, preventative maintenance, and unit turns
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures
- Coordinate with onsite leadership on operational priorities
- Manage inventory, tools, and maintenance supplies
- Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed
