POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for the overall reliability of the operation, maintenance P&L, support leadership and management of the facility. Ensures facility is maintaining environmental and regulatory compliance standards and operating and preserving a safe work environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Proactively deliver a maintenance program that ensures asset reliability and operational readiness under a defined schedule and budget. Foster a culture that promotes a safe work environment through the development and implementation of safety plans and training; maintain environmental and regulatory compliance standards. Support Plant management to achieve overarching production goals through clear coordination with lead operators and operations team members. Delivering expected results through effective project execution by ensuring appropriate personnel and equipment resources including contractors and parts inventory are available for efficient performance Improve employee relations in building a healthy organization, by promoting a culture of respect consistent with company values. Drive change by challenging the status quo, developing a culture of learning and continuous improvement. Enhance customer retention and business growth by proactively seeking to understand customer needs and exceeding their expectations. Support organizational capacity by clearly defining maintenance roles, responsibilities, providing feedback, coaching and development of staff. Other tasks as assigned. Requirements

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, problem solving and relationship building skills.
  • Superior organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment.
  • Process and Systems oriented.
  • Ability to self-manage, direct supervisory and management experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and being able to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel including management.
  • Ability to obtain any necessary provincial certifications and licenses that are required.
  • Maintenance & Technical systems experience including CMMS experience implementation and execution).
  • Experience with increasing management responsibility, experience in industrial services with rotating equipment, or engineering industries.
  • Experience in a Profit/Loss leadership role with budget responsibilities.
  • Employee development.

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman Millwright or technician diploma in related maintenance/engineering preferred.
