Requirements

3+ years of experience in maintenance operations
Supervisory experience, preferably in multi-unit residential or public housing environments
Ability to manage 5 properties throughout Geauga County
Ability to inspect units for the HCV Program through Geauga County
Must have the ability to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

Experience with HUD/public housing programs, including familiarity with inspections such as REAC/NSPIRE and related compliance standards
Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or EPA certification)
Prior experience managing budgets, capital projects, or contractor oversight in a multi-unit setting

Responsibilities

Manage all daily maintenance operations, including work order systems, emergency response, preventative maintenance strategies, and inspection preparation across assigned properties.
Provide leadership to the Assistant Maintenance Manager and maintenance staff through training, performance management, scheduling, and accountability, cultivating a high-performing, dependable team.
Oversee compliance with HUD/NSPIRE standards, coordinate inspections, manage capital improvements, and ensure all properties remain well-maintained and audit-ready.
Manage maintenance over 5 properties throughout Geauga County: Chardon, Middlefield, Newbury, and Chagrin Falls.
Inspect units for the HCV Program in Geauga County.
