About The Position
The NEW! Residence Inn Claremont is hiring a Maintenance Manager. This leader is the steward of the hotel’s physical operation—ensuring every system works smoothly and safely. You lead your team with precision and accountability, embodying the Hotel's Wings of Excellence in every project and repair. The Maintenance Manager leads the hotel’s engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring all systems, facilities, and equipment are well-maintained, safe, and efficient. This leadership role focuses on preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and team development to uphold the Hotel's operational excellence. Opening Spring, 2026!
Requirements
- High school diploma or technical certification required; degree in facilities management preferred.
- 3+ years of hotel maintenance experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems and preventive maintenance programs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Full-time leadership role with flexible schedule requirements.
- Frequent walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Exposure to varying weather and environmental conditions.
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule maintenance staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Monitor performance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, brand standards, and local codes.
- Maintain accurate documentation for safety checks, certifications, and inspections.
- Coordinate with external vendors for major repairs or projects.
- Assist with capital improvement planning and budget management.
- Monitor inventory of tools and supplies, ensuring cost control and accountability.
- Communicate with leadership regarding maintenance priorities and progress.
