About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a GSE Maintenance Manager (Level K) to join the Production Equipment Maintenance Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Production Equipment Maintenance (PEM) Leadership Team supporting the 787 program. This position is responsible for all aspects of GSE maintenance for the 787 program. Manages employee activities within Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Maintenance including equipment maintenance, repair and overhaul, preventive and predictive maintenance, maintenance planning and scheduling, maintenance projects, parts ordering Develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures, and protocols for all ground support equipment. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Monitor equipment performance and reliability, identifying and addressing issues proactively. Coordinate with operations, engineering, and provisioning team to ensure availability of parts and resources. Oversee budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation for the GSE maintenance department. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. Conduct regular training and development programs for maintenance personnel. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency. Respond promptly to equipment failures and emergencies to minimize operational disruptions. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports Manages, develops and motivates employees. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Requirements

Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
3+ years of experience leading or managing a team
3+ years of experience in a production/factory environment
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree or higher
