About The Position

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all maintenance activities across the manufacturing facility to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment, utilities, facilities, and infrastructure. The role is critical in maximizing equipment uptime, reducing unplanned downtime, improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Experience in leading maintenance activities across a manufacturing facility.
Experience in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment, utilities, facilities, and infrastructure.
Experience in maximizing equipment uptime, reducing unplanned downtime, and improving OEE.
Experience in developing and implementing preventative, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs.
Experience in leading root cause investigations into equipment failures.
Experience in developing and managing annual maintenance plans and shutdown schedules.
Experience with CMMS systems for maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution.
Experience in managing site facilities and critical utilities (Electrical systems, HVAC systems, Water and cooling systems, Compressed air systems, Building infrastructure).
Experience in coordinating contractor activities.
Experience in leading TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives.
Experience in identifying and implementing cost-saving and efficiency improvement projects.
Experience in ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing safe systems of work.
Experience in managing machine guarding, lockout/tagout procedures, and contractor safety.
Experience in supporting ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949 and other applicable management systems.
Experience in developing and managing maintenance budgets.
Experience in controlling spare parts inventory and maintenance expenditure.
Experience in managing supplier relationships, service agreements, and contractor performance.
Experience in supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Experience in leading equipment modification and plant improvement projects.
Experience in providing technical expertise for capital investment decisions.
Experience in participating in project planning, budgeting, and execution.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team to achieve operational and business objectives.
Establish clear performance goals and development plans for maintenance personnel.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
Manage maintenance staffing, training, succession planning, and workforce capability development.
Develop and implement preventative, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs.
Drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability and machine availability.
Monitor and improve key performance metrics including: Equipment uptime, OEE, Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Planned vs. reactive maintenance ratio.
Lead root cause investigations into equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Develop and manage annual maintenance plans and shutdown schedules.
Ensure effective maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution through CMMS systems.
Prioritize maintenance activities to minimize disruption to production operations.
Ensure maintenance records, procedures, and documentation are maintained accurately.
Manage site facilities and critical utilities including: Electrical systems, HVAC systems, Water and cooling systems, Compressed air systems, Building infrastructure.
Coordinate contractor activities and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Lead TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives.
Identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency improvement projects.

Participate in capital investment projects and equipment upgrades.
