About The Position

DirectHire Maintenance Manager Direct opportunity Rate: $105-110K Hours: 7am-5pm West Chester Township, OH Responsibilities: - Will be managing a team of 8 technicians. - Responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and operational reliability of all facility infrastructure, production equipment, and machinery to ensure continuous and efficient operations. - Ensures all equipment is properly maintained, promptly repaired, and compliant with safety and regulatory requirements. - Manages spare parts inventory to minimize downtime, conducts quality inspections for new or replacement equipment, and ensures all required equipment permits and documentation are current, properly maintained, and accurately filed. - Schedule, coordinate, and document preventive maintenance activities for all facility equipment and machinery. - Establish and maintain minimum inventory levels for critical wear and spare parts; continuously monitor stock levels to minimize production downtime. - Oversee equipment installations, modifications, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects. - Maintain accurate maintenance records, including preventive maintenance schedules, parts usage, repairs, inspections, and maintenance log activities. - Develop, organize, and maintain a comprehensive technical library including maintenance manuals, diagnostic procedures, operating instructions, equipment drawings, and service history records for all equipment. - Train, mentor, supervise, and support the development of hourly maintenance personnel. - Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with housekeeping and safety standards; identify and correct unsafe conditions or practices as necessary. - Investigate equipment failures and breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce or eliminate recurring issues. - Coordinate with the Production Manager to schedule equipment downtime for maintenance and repairs.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related technical field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of maintenance management or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Demonstrated managerial experience including employee supervision, scheduling, performance management, and team development
  • Working knowledge of engineering principles including basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs, equipment troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives preferred
  • Problem solver, excellent written/verbal skills, team-oriented, able to take responsibility in case of emergency
  • Strong data processing and computer skills including experience with maintenance management systems, inventory tracking, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply equipment specifications, blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical/mechanical schematics
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
  • Able to climb stairs and endure higher temperatures up to 90°F for limited periods
