About The Position

The Maintenance Manager is to provide a committed and high level of technical service, working in partnership with the Unit Plant Manager and the Quality Manager to produce glass containers at continuously improving levels of quality and efficiency. The Maintenance Manager will plan preventive maintenance on equipment, scheduling repairs and upgrades while simultaneously working to maximize plant uptime. Assists in implementing corrective actions when necessary. Ensure the safety and quality of work performed by maintenance and production personnel. Provide a high level of technical service to produce glass containers at continuously improving levels of quality.

Requirements

Strong background in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair
Experience in using CMMS systems
Strong Computer skills
Ability to oversee, schedule, and train personnel
Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience/training
Ability to work at various heights in a 24/7 manufacturing facility
Experience in a maintenance leadership position in manufacturing
Effective communication and people management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will also be considered.
