About The Position

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the daily supervision of Maintenance staff members, including delegation of work orders, special projects, and time management techniques. This role involves the inspection and oversight of existing and completed work orders, addressing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and all other service requests. The Manager will also be involved in mentoring and training new and existing maintenance staff members, as well as participating in the interviewing and selection of new maintenance team members. Additionally, the position requires providing written monthly energy management recommendations for the building, identifying capital improvements and obtaining required estimates/bids, and assisting in budget preparation for maintenance expenses.

Requirements

Experience in hotel, apartment, hospital maintenance/engineering with 2 years of supervisory experience leading a team.
Excellent customer service and computer skills.
Ability to create a team, mentor, and train a team
Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, appliances, water heaters, chillers/boilers, and H.V.A.C. or EPA Universal Certification.
Proven track record managing a preventative maintenance program and experience with capital projects.
