About The Position

SP+ is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations for a DOT shuttle operation. Requirements

• Prior progressive supervisory or management experience in a transportation environment preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid CDL Class A, B or C Driver’s License depending on the location's hiring needs, with Passenger Endorsement if responsible for operating shuttle buses with a passenger capacity of 15 passengers or more.
• Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience ensuring employer is compliant with federal (EPA Clean Water Act of 1977) and local laws and regulations, particularly in the area of water pollution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance operations for a DOT shuttle operation.
• Work with the on-site manager to prepare maintenance and cleaning schedules; assign, perform, and supervise the work product.
• Oversee daily functions of the maintenance staff employees to ensure quality and timely completion of daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance and cleaning projects.
• Conduct daily inspects on cleaning, maintenance and repair projects to ensure that quality standards are met.
• Direct and manage routine cleaning, maintenance and repair, including power washing, slurring, restriping, sweeping and commercial painting.
