About The Position

The Maintenance Manager oversees the day-to-day maintenance and repair operations of the organization’s facilities, equipment, and machinery through planning, coordinating, and directing all maintenance activities to ensure machine reliability and minimizing unexpected downtime. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required. This role involves understanding equipment operation, planning and prioritizing maintenance tasks, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with GMP and SOP guidelines. The manager will also be responsible for general maintenance, setting up production equipment, performing electrical and mechanical repairs, diagnosing equipment issues, and leading a team of maintenance technicians. Effective communication with a bilingual workforce and fostering a positive team environment are key aspects of this position.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Two years of supervisory training, management, or a related field.
5S, Six Sigma methodologies.
5-7 years of increasingly responsible maintenance experience including supervisory experience.
Fluent bilingual communication skills in both English and Spanish (verbal and written).
Knowledge of operations, services, and activities of a production maintenance, training, and repair program.
Knowledge of materials, methods, terminology, equipment, and tools used in maintenance, repair.
Knowledge of principles of supervision, training, and performance evaluation.
Knowledge of basic principles of budget preparation and administration.
Knowledge of equipment, tools, and materials used in facility maintenance activities.
Knowledge of construction and project management principles.
Knowledge of principles and practices of safety management.
Ability to organize, implement, and direct production maintenance operations and activities.
Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate assigned staff.
Ability to interpret and explain pertinent department policies and procedures.
Ability to perform complex maintenance duties and operate related equipment.
Ability to develop and recommend systems and procedures related to assigned operations.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Ability to effectively communicate with and lead a bilingual workforce in both English and Spanish.
HAZCOM Fall protection Training.
Possession of appropriate Forklift operator training.

Responsibilities
