About The Position

Our facilities play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, food safety, and product integrity. We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead reliability and maintenance operations at our facility in the Lakewood, WA area. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring equipment uptime, optimizing maintenance programs, and supporting a safe, efficient operation. Requirements

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • 2–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience managing maintenance teams
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and automated systems
  • Experience with CMMS platforms and maintenance planning systems
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, compressors, boilers, HVAC, and process instrumentation
  • Ability to analyze maintenance data and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in food, beverage, or other regulated manufacturing environments
  • Lean / 5S or continuous improvement experience
  • Welding or fabrication experience (MIG, TIG, Arc)
  • Technical education in mechanical, electrical, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and support a team of maintenance technicians and facilities personnel
  • Drive a proactive maintenance culture by expanding preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and process issues to minimize downtime
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and reduce failures
  • Manage maintenance budgets, including repair & maintenance (R&M) and spare parts inventory
  • Partner cross-functionally with production, engineering, and operations teams to support business goals
  • Oversee the maintenance of key systems such as conveyors, pumps, motors, PLCs, VFDs, HVAC, and facility equipment
  • Utilize CMMS tools to track work orders, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure all equipment and processes meet safety and food safety standards
