About The Position

This role involves providing leadership and direction for maintenance programs in a 24/7/365 operation, setting priorities for repairs, installations, projects, and preventative maintenance. The manager will lead, coach, and mentor maintenance team members, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations while maintaining food safety and quality standards. Responsibilities also include supervising on-site contractors, managing the department budget, and overseeing capital projects.

Requirements

5+ years related leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
Utilizing CI and Lean Manufacturing methodologies
Manufacturing industry knowledge a must
Strong leadership skills
Strong mechanical skills
Strong budget management skills
Strong computer skills

Nice To Haves

Degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or process engineering
Dairy experience
Associated systems knowledge including fluid systems, PLCs, electrical, HVAC, CIP systems, processing and packaging equipment, high pressure steam boilers and ammonia refrigeration

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction of the maintenance programs setting priorities for repairs, installations, projects, and preventative maintenance in a 24/7/365 operation.
Lead, coach, and mentor maintenance team members assisting them in their continued development and performance.
Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
Ensure food safety and quality standards are consistently maintained.
Supervise on-site contractors ensuring their delivery of quality work while complying with safety and food quality protocols.
Manage department budget and capital projects.
