About The Position

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing all maintenance-related activities, including mechanical, electrical, facilities, equipment, and other maintenance-related activities, ensuring they are performed safely while meeting all company safety and environmental requirements. This position works closely with various departments, coordinating maintenance activities to ensure world-class uptime and equipment reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years as maintenance manager or engineer in a continuous, high-speed manufacturing operation.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations for the maintenance department.
  • Maintain maintenance and electrical schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
  • Maintains equipment and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
  • Supervises employees: planning and assigning work, adjusting schedules to meet production requirements, analyzing and resolving work problems, inspecting materials to verify conformance with standards, and working closely with HR on all disciplinary issues.
  • Works closely with plant staff on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provides support to various departments throughout the plant on the installation, troubleshooting, rebuilding, and re-design of equipment.
  • Manages all weekly, quarterly, and annual preventive maintenance events.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
