About The Position
This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing production or processing machines and equipment rapidly to reduce production lag. The role involves assisting with the planning and execution of all department assigned tasks and work orders, and monitoring various plant equipment to support optimal occupational health and safety, quality assurance, and equipment efficiency. The individual will proactively respond to issues and deficiencies with recommended solutions, clearly communicating the resolution process to their supervisor and other levels of management. Timely communication of critical information regarding jobs, assignments, tasks, work orders, inspection forms, and job completion check-off sheets to the supervisor is essential. This role routinely uses a variety of hand or power tools to address machinery, equipment, or production component issues/deficiencies. Depending on the need, the role may utilize specific disciplines such as Mechanical, Welding, Instrumentation, Electrical, Computers, Vibration, or Refractory to perform maintenance objectives on a variety of equipment. The position requires supporting, encouraging, and regularly practicing approved safety procedures and protocols, as well as regularly reviewing, supporting, and executing ISO responsibilities defined by the department. Regular attendance is required. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor. This position involves safety-sensitive job duties.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong Instrumentation skills

- 1-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1-5 years’ of general machinery maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical and operational aptitude in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities

- May use a variety of specific disciplines (i.e. Mechanical, Welding, Instrumentations, Electrical, Computers, Vibration or Refractory) to perform maintenance objectives on a variety of equipment
- Support, encourage and regularly practice approved safety procedures and protocols
- Regularly review, support and execute ISO responsibilities defined by the department
- Regular attendance is required
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
