About The Position
ELS is hiring for the position of Maintenance - Level III in Sun City, Arizona. This role requires an individual with a background in irrigation and landscape maintenance, including managing irrigation timers, repairing leaks and sprinkler heads to ensure healthy grass. A general maintenance background for other resort areas is also necessary. The goal is to maintain a clean, safe, and appealing property.
Requirements
- High school diploma or the equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in applicable areas, including irrigation repairs, plumbing, carpentry, etc.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
- Willing to be on call for emergencies that arise after hours.
Nice To Haves
- Background in irrigation and landscape maintenance.
- Knowledge of managing irrigation timers, repairing irrigation leaks, and sprinkler heads.
- General maintenance background to work in other areas of the resort.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with management to maintain a clean, safe and appealing property.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with management and staff and work closely with them on all special maintenance projects.
- Maintain grounds and common areas and keep them free from trash and debris.
- Report maintenance concerns directly to management and perform repairs.
- Maintain vacant lot grounds.
- Conduct irrigation systems repairs.
- Monitor and control maintenance inventory and supplies.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
