About The Position

ELS is hiring for the position of Maintenance - Level I in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. This is a seasonal position from April to October, with a pay rate of $15/hr. As a Maintenance Worker, you will help maintain the overall safety and functionality of the resort. This includes completing light repairs, supporting daily operations, and ensuring that the property meets the high-quality maintenance standards set by ELS. You will work closely with management and teammates to help create a safe, appealing environment for all guests and residents.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and operate or assist with heavy equipment.
  • General knowledge of maintenance practices, hand tools, and basic repairs.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Reliable, detail‑oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards.
  • Willing and able to be on a rotating on-call schedule for emergency maintenance needs outside of regular hours.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring amenity spaces (pool areas, bathhouses, clubhouse, etc.) are clean, safe, and working properly.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as light appliance repairs, minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, and basic electrical tasks.
  • Maintaining resort grounds, including trash removal, landscaping assistance, and keeping outdoor spaces free from debris.
  • Attending morning staff meetings to review daily priorities, vendor visits, and maintenance needs.
  • Communicating professionally with management, maintenance teammates, and other staff to support smooth operations.
  • Reporting maintenance concerns promptly and completing assigned repairs efficiently.
  • Operating maintenance vehicles such as trucks or golf carts and transporting tools, equipment, or materials across the property.
  • Monitoring and maintaining inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
  • Assisting with janitorial duties as needed, including maintaining cleanliness of shared spaces.
  • Performing other maintenance-related tasks as assigned.
