About The Position

The Maintenance Lead will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities and ensuring the smooth operation of the facility. This role involves leading a team of maintenance technicians, managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and ensuring the facility's infrastructure, equipment, and systems are maintained at optimal performance levels. The Maintenance Lead will work closely with other departments to support operational efficiency and safety standards.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in using maintenance management software.
Solid understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Nice To Haves

Experience in facilities management is highly desirable.
Technical or vocational training in maintenance-related fields preferred.
OSHA safety certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians.
Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted safely and in compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor work progress to ensure timely completion.
Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team.
Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair work.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and ensure quick resolution.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts, and reorder as necessary.
Any other duties as assigned by TAS.
