As the Maintenance Lead at nVent, you will have the unique opportunity to lead and oversee the shift maintenance team, ensuring flawless operation of our production equipment. Your attention to detail and ability to determine preventive maintenance needs will play a vital role in the functioning of our machinery and success of our operations. This role will consist of three - 12-hour shifts, 6 AM - 6:30 PM. (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

Requirements

  • Over 5 years of mechanical, electrical, and/or HVAC maintenance experience and knowledge, demonstrating your proven expertise in maintaining a wide range of equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in leading maintenance crews is preferred, showcasing your ability to effectively lead a team.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and perform preventive maintenance on all production equipment, strictly adhering to defined schedules, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform repairs and upkeep on production equipment as necessary, minimizing interruptions and enhancing productivity.
  • Document and maintain equipment files and documents, creating a comprehensive record for future reference and facilitating efficient maintenance processes.
  • Optimize spare parts inventory to minimize disruption to production and ensure quick resolution of equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to create and implement daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for planned work, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely completion of tasks.
