About The Position

The Maintenance Lead is responsible for supervising and coordinating all facility maintenance activities, leading a team of technicians in the preventive and corrective maintenance of interior and exterior areas. This role combines team leadership responsibilities with technical supervision and execution. Ensuring that all maintenance tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established quality standards. The Maintenance Lead acts as a liaison between the technical team and management, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within the required standards.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in general maintenance-related tasks.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.
  • Physical aptitude to perform manual labor and work in various environmental conditions.
  • Ability to document work orders on a computer.
  • Potential to work extended hours as needed.
  • Proficiency in working at heights ("aerial lift"), accessing roofs using fixed ladders, working in areas with potential noise and temperature changes.
  • Good communication, attention to detail, adaptable to changes.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various environmental conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with technical/vocational training preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise maintenance personnel and coordinate daily activities
  • Assign jobs and ensure compliance with quality and productivity standards
  • Provide direction and support to team members in daily execution
  • Coordinate, supervise, and support the execution of painting, carpentry, plumbing, and floor repair, roof maintenance, doors, windows, and general cleaning.
  • Direct installations and repairs as needed by the facility.
  • Organize movement of furniture, equipment, and installation of accessories.
  • Plan exterior washing jobs and installation of carpets and signs
  • Coordinate special projects and facility improvements
  • Ensure proper use of tools, elevated equipment, and work at heights
  • Coordinate with specialized technical personnel in mechanical systems if necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with physical and technical requirements of the job
  • Ensure correct recording of work orders in CMMS systems and accurate documentation of all activities.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for the entire team, in constant compliance with protocols and promote a culture of safety and prevention.
  • Maintain effective communication with management and supervisors.
  • Perform additional functions as required
