Requirements

3-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or equivalent, with hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing bagger machines and other industrial production machinery.
High School Diploma or Trade School education in Industrial Machinery Mechanics, HVAC, or related fields.
Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing PLC-controlled equipment, bagger machines, and mechanical systems like motors, drives, fryers, packaging machines, and more.
Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of maintenance technicians.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze data, interpret issues, and implement solutions effectively.
Ability to communicate well with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and timely completion of maintenance tasks.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Ishida packaging equipment, Heat and Control fryers, and conveyor systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction to the Maintenance team, ensuring work orders are prioritized and tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
Oversee the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to keep equipment running smoothly and minimize downtime.
Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and PLC-controlled equipment, including bagger machines, motors, drives, fryers, and packaging systems.
Maintain a controlled inventory of parts, tools, and supplies to ensure the Maintenance team has everything they need to perform repairs and maintenance efficiently.
Ensure all maintenance work adheres to GMP, OSHA, EPA, and Food Safety guidelines while supporting the plant’s safety culture and compliance.
Maintain accurate documentation of preventive maintenance, repairs, work orders, and other maintenance activities in the EAM System to comply with audit requirements.
Drive the implementation of 5S processes to maintain an organized and clean work environment, contributing to safety and productivity.
Identify opportunities to optimize the maintenance processes and contribute to ongoing improvements in production efficiency.
