About The Position

The Maintenance Lead is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance and facility upkeep operations while actively performing maintenance and janitorial tasks. This role requires strong technical skills, leadership ability, and a willingness to engage directly in cleaning, sanitation, and general facility care to ensure a safe, clean, and fully functional environment.

Requirements

• Must be a self-starter and able to accomplish duties without constant supervision.
• All candidates must undergo a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance
• Troubleshoot equipment, machinery, and facility issues
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and repair needs
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and infrastructure
• Actively perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as needed
• Clean work areas, restrooms, common spaces, and facility equipment
• Handle waste disposal and recycling procedures
• Perform deep cleaning and special cleaning assignments
• Maintain cleanliness of maintenance areas and workshops
• Ensure proper use, storage, and handling of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Address urgent cleaning needs (spills, hazards, hygiene concerns)
• Develop and manage maintenance and cleaning schedules
• Prioritize tasks based on operational and safety impact
• Identify and report facility improvement needs
• Ensure tools, equipment, and cleaning devices are maintained
• Follow proper chemical handling and PPE procedures
• Manage spare parts, tools, and cleaning supplies
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment
• Maintain maintenance and cleaning records
• Report issues, repairs, and supply needs to management
