About The Position

Country Estates Manufactured Home Community is looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Lead who takes pride in quality work and enjoys keeping a community running at its best. This position is located in Northville, MI. The ideal candidate is experienced in general maintenance, enjoys solving problems, and is ready to take ownership of day-to-day operations. No fancy licenses or certifications are required, just honesty, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and lead by example.

Requirements

Honest, dependable, and motivated to learn
Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or general maintenance
Ability to work independently and lead or assist other maintenance team members
Respect for company equipment, tools, and supplies
A positive attitude and commitment to providing residents with a great community experience
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and driving record check

Nice To Haves

At least 6 months of experience in maintenance or a skilled trade preferred

Responsibilities

Leading day-to-day maintenance operations throughout the community
Completing work orders efficiently and professionally, including light plumbing, basic electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, and carpentry repairs
Preparing rental homes for new residents, including painting, cleaning, and general repairs and refurbishing
Coordinating with outside vendors and ensuring quality work
Maintaining community amenities and common areas, including grounds and pool areas
Assisting with after-hours emergency maintenance coverage as needed
Promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and resident satisfaction
Keeping work areas organized, clean, and professional
