About The Position

Wendover Management, LLC is seeking an outstanding, experienced Maintenance Lead to join our team in Brooksville, FL. We are looking for a Maintenance Lead with high energy, expert communication, relationship-building skills, and outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to embrace a shared responsibility environment and work with a diverse group of people while keeping a strong sense of ownership attitude.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the multifamily industry is required.
The ability to operate a vehicle and a driver’s license is required according to community needs.
Light carpentry, drywall repair and texture, and painting
Must have experience in appliance repair, compressor diagnosis, etc.
Must be adaptable; able to multi-task, prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance and demeanor
Must have certifications/permits required by city or state to perform job responsibilities (i.e., pool operations, maintenance, electricians, etc.)

Nice To Haves

Certified Apartment Service Technician (CAMT), preferred
Computer literacy is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Oversees the physical assets, general maintenance repairs, apartment make-readies, and preventive maintenance for the community.
Supervise and schedule maintenance activities for the apartment community and maintenance staff.
Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident/service requests for occupied units.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electronic systems, all major appliances, and other systems in the community (phone jacks, irrigation systems, etc.).
Coordinate, schedule, and prepare vacant apartments for move-in.
Identify and correct hazardous community conditions.
Coordinate, schedule, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and apartments.
Ordering supplies and managing maintenance budget.
May be requested to assist in other community areas, including office support, etc.
Assist with hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, etc.
Responsible for overall organization and cleanliness of work areas and maintenance shops.
