About The Position

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Laborer to work 3rd shift, Sunday night through Thursday night, 11pm-7am, at our Cudahy, WI, facility with the availability to train on 1st shift for 60 days, Monday through Friday, 7am-3pm. Maintenance Laborers perform manual labor associated with maintenance work assisting such craftsmen as masons, cement-finishers, carpenters, steam fitters and others as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months' manual labor experience.

Nice To Haves

• Prior manufacturing/factory experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor associated with maintenance work assisting craftsmen such as masons, cement-finishers, carpenters, steam fitters, and others as needed.
• Use shovels, picks, crow bars, sledgehammers, air hammers, hand trucks, and other equipment in performing work assignments.
• Mix mortar or cement.
• Tear up brickwork or concrete.
• Load and unload material.
• Perform other functions as assigned by department supervisors and/or craftsmen.
• Assist other areas and departments in the plant and back office functions as needed.
