About The Position

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a Maintenance Journeyman with industrial mechanical experience. This role involves repairing and maintaining industrial production or processing machinery and equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing and fixing malfunctions, disassembling and reassembling equipment, and performing routine maintenance. Requirements

5 years Industrial mechanical Experience or NCCER certified as a Maintenance Journeyman
Must pass Pre-employment background and physical

Responsibilities

Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment.
Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices.
Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
Disassemble equipment for maintenance or repair.
Maintain work equipment and machinery.
Repair worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.
Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.
Observe equipment in operation to detect potential problems.
Service, repair, adjust, and test machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical principles.
Use control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes.
Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
Use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling.
